Rough day tomorrow. No baseball in Chicago :-(

And today's highlight at the ballpark ? well the Sox lost 6-0 to Jeff Weaver and the Mariners, the kids run the bases afterward was nice but the best moment was bringing in your closer when you are losing in the top of the ninth ? Bobby Jenks retired hitters number 39, 40 and 41. 39 was a shot right back at him and 40 was a sinking line drive to right which Jermaine Dye struggled to get to. We went from total depression at another miserable day at Comiskey to a standing ovation for big Bobby. This was the highlight of a miserable White Sox season.
- "That's unbelievable," outfielder Jermaine Dye said. "Especially in this day and age, as much work as hitters put in. For a guy to go up there and do what he did today, it says a lot. We're all happy for him."
- "I was nervous," Pierzynski said. "When he came in, I knew where he was. It wasn't quite the same as when [Mark] Buehlre had the no-hitter in the ninth, but it was close. You don't want to do something to allow him to not get a guy out and have the streak come to an end. It put a little pep in your step."
